Happy New Year and welcome to 2016!
So who is Lou? Well that’s me and I promise to explain in more detail about myself in future blogs but more importantly I need to explain a little about this Blog……………
I always think that birth and death are the big chunky slices of bread that surround the variety of fillings which makes up life!
We all have a roller coaster of varying experiences that life throws at us! Finding the strength to have positivity, learning to adapt to life changes, manage our own feelings as well as giving support for others is hard but also accepting support from friends/family is not always easy! I do find that having a sense of humour is generally what helps to get us all through!
Why am I writing this Blog??
So here I am in my 50th year of life on this spinning rock we call home! This year instead of making a new years resolution, I have decided to put together this blog which I have been wittering on about for ages! I have as many others have had some incredible life experiences, good and bad which I’m sure many of you will be able to relate to! Also as somebody who suffers with Multiple Sclerosis which is often described as an invisible illness, I would like to help raise awareness for these types of conditions but also, hopefully, inspire and give some momentum to those who struggle as I have in the past and will continue to do so daily, not just with MS but many other life issues and conditions!
I also have a Facebook page “Snowflake Baker” where I am attempting a baking challenge, please feel free to drop by, like my page and have a look? I am also considering making some videos for YouTube but will see how I get on with all this technology 🙂 :-)!
I had hoped to have this blog up and running so that I could publish the first page on New Year’s Day but in typical MS style I have managed to catch not one but two viruses which have wiped me out for the last few weeks! It’s just all the fun of the fair 🙂 :-)!
Anyway that’s enough from me for now, I promise to be back with more soon, stay happy and healthy all you life sandwichers!
New year wishes to all
